Conditions are quite good for astrophotography tonight. Able to get 2 hours on western veil so far. The forecast says clouds by midnight. Hope to catch one more quick target before that happens.
Good to see that construction of new windmills off the shore of CT, RI and MA is still continuing.
Hope I don’t get cancer from being near these windmills.
A couple of nice cool mornings with temps in 50s. Good to get this assurance from the Earth that Summer will officially end in a month.
I watched Blade Runner (1982). It is vastly different than the book it is based on but a good movie. Up next is Blade Runner 2049.

It has been a good day so far with our solar panels producing more than what was used. Let’s see how this holds up at night with A/C and all the streaming.
On Sunday, went riding on Moosup valley state park and Trestle trails in Eastern CT and RI. The RI part of trestle trail west of Coventry is in horrible shape. Took a long detour to avoid that part on the way back. It was bright sunny day. A little hot but not too bad.
Last night I watched Pacific Rim (2013). All the flashes and loud noises kept me from falling asleep on the couch.

On this morning’s commute took a longer but scenic route to work. These backroads with no traffic lights and sparse traffic are really enjoyable.
