Caught Jupiter and Venus conjunction tonight through a break in cloudy weather.

March Photo Challenge

I have been using Obsidian for about 6 months or so to keep track of my cycling, astrophotography and some financial information. With the use of tags, starting to see interesting patterns in the graph view. I am really enjoying how this is shaping up and hope this continues.

March is National Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Awareness Month. For those over 45, screening for colorectal cancer (colonoscopy) is a good idea.
As I am getting older, it seems like this whole idea of ‘mindful living’ or ‘living in the moment’ is getting easier. For one, my memory is shot; can’t remember anything. And with diminished cognitive abilities, I can only focus on one thing that is at hand at any given time.
Expecting more snow tonight into tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Want to use my snowshoes for a hike, for the first time this season.
Moon, Jupiter and Venus
Moon, Jupiter and Venus in the western sky. Couldn’t catch them when they were closer to each other a couple of days ago. In the third photo, the moons of Jupiter can be seen if you zoom in.

It was a cold and quiet morning for an enjoyable stroll in the forest. I like making bootprints on fresh snow. Someone else (fox, coyote or bobcat) got to the trail before I did and I had to share the fresh snow.
Thanks @pratik !!!

Took this photo of downtown San Diego from the ferry to Coronado island and Siri is telling me that this is Detroit. 🤔 So much for AI.
